My destiny is mine to control.
When you acquire enough inner peace and feel really positive about yourself, it's almost impossible for you to be controlled and manipulated by anybody else. Dr. Wayne Dyer
When we look at the world we interpret what we see through various lenses such as our cultural lens, religious lens, corporate lens, parents’ lens, friends’ lens, or someone you trust or look up to. And all those people look through their own prisms as well and so it goes. But what is your authentic lens, how do you find that space in yourself to say this is what I think, this is what I believe. After all the generations of conditioning, is it any wonder so many people walk on this earth without getting in touch with their own true selves? How did we get here? Is this what civilization is? Our thoughts like viruses keep multiplying to the nth degree until we stop and dig deep within us and begin to polish that precious gem which is our true nature. Some people spend a lifetime trying to get back to their original nature, to find their own truth, their own voice and their own lens clear of the cobwebs or noises of the past or the forest of their egos to find that path. It is worth the journey. That journey starts with the first step. Here are some of the ways you can start your journey..
- Question your thoughts and feelings
- Ask yourself, where did that come from? Where did you hear it or read about it?
- How did you come to such a thought of what is right or what is wrong.
- Watch those thoughts that are premised by should
- Is it true?
- Are you 100% sure it is true?
- Are you 100% sure it is not true?
- If you can’t then it’s 50-50. This is a third choice
- Choose the thought that would make you feel good about yourself
- Decisions that make you feel good about yourself are generally authentic because our job is to feel good – feel God or the Universal spirit whatever you choose to name it.
- When we make decisions from that place of trust, place of faith, God-centred place, there can be no mistake we are responding to our original nature.
