The media is having a field day with the Arizona killing. If the killer wanted fame, he’s got it. There is a lot we can heap blame upon. At the end of the day, there are people mourning who have lost their loved ones in this senseless killing, including the family of the killer himself. How would you feel if your child had done something so terrible? It is a parent's nightmare and they suffer just as much if not more than the victims themselves. The guilt and shame they must be feeling are indescribable to me. My heart goes out to them as well.
America will not be the beacon of hope, democracy and justice if it does not bring its house in order, if those inflammatory preachers do not stop spreading hate and start spreading love, understanding and acceptance of each other as human beings even if they do not agree with all others do. Who among us is free from sin? Who among us live by the Word of God 100%? Then why do we demand it of others?
The hate must stop. Love must reign. We are commanded by all the great sages, Prophets/Messengers of God to love and not to hate and kill, why do we go astray we do, why? We have to return to our Source and live by the will of our Creator, yes we do.
