Do you know that what you think manifests in your life? There is a saying that you are what you think. This is true and science bears this out. There is a definite mind-body connection. For everything you have there is a biochemical release in the body. If you think happy thoughts, that is if you live in the moment, you will experience the elation of the happy hormonal effect of serotonin. When what you think bad thoughts or negative thoughts the chemical factory in your body which according to one of the scientists in “what the bleep do you know”(an excellent film by the way) known as the hypothalmus creates the chemicals to match what we are requesting through our thoughts and sends this throughout the body through chemical messengers right down to the cellular level. The cells in our bodies communicate through chemical messengers. How do you keep your thoughts on the up side rather than the down side.
1. Be mindful of the thought you are having - focus – reign in your drunken monkey mind that tend to jump from one thing to the next sometimes without rhyme or reason, just go go go. When this happens redirect your thoughts through neutrtalizing it with alternative positive, happy thoughts;
2. Live an intentional and purposeful life. The best way to do this to be of service to others.Do what you love to do and not what others think you should do – get off life’s treadmill;
3. Foster beliefs that promote good feelings and health – visualize the kind of life you want to lead
4. Believe that what you visualize will materialize.
