How a girl turned tragedy into empowerment

Sometimes we have to go to hell and back as this 14 year old girl in order to find out purpose in this live and to live it fully. When bad things happen to us, we cry and rage and ask why me.  It is difficult to see the big picture because we do not hold all the pieces to the puzzle.  We have to dig deep within ourselves and trust the universe.  What happens to the body has no impact on the soul and sometime suffering brings out that which we were born to do.  When I listened to this girl on Oprah last evening, it opened up new understanding about life for me.  She is empowered, she is articulate and it appeared as if she was born to advocate and teach other children. I was so proud of her and respected her so much for the wisdom she had which I can never have.  It is her gift to share.  Check it out and be inspired.
